Amanda currently serves as Practice Director of Learning at SiriusDecisions, leading the strategy, design, and operations of Sirius’s innovative e-learning courses. Throughout her career, Amanda has focused on innovation in digital learning, fusing her international experience with her work in technology and neuroeducation to create opportunities for people to learn, train and excel no matter where they are in the world, in their careers or in their lives.
Previously, Amanda served as Academic Dean, Director of Business Development, and finally as Provost of a university focused on educating adult students in analysis and security risk management. She created e-learning programs in cybersecurity, corporate security, foreign languages and doctoral-level security studies, and gained extensive product management, marketing and business development experience in the digital education and educational technology sector. Her neuroeducation-based learning therapies using adaptive content and technology have been featured at conferences across the country.
Prior to her work in education, Amanda spent almost a decade advancing international strategic initiatives, developing foreign policy and managing U.S. government projects in Indonesia, Mongolia, China, Vietnam, and East Timor. Amanda holds an MS in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University and a BA in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Virginia. She speaks Spanish and Vietnamese.
