Ian is a proven subject matter expert in sales and sales consulting. He has 20-plus years of experience in sales and line sales management, and has also managed sales operations and sales enablement functions. Prior to joining SiriusDecisions, Ian was vice president of consulting for customer success for The TAS Group. He has delivered many sales consulting engagements and designed, developed and delivered workshops for salespeople, sales managers and sales leaders around the world. Prior to that role, Ian worked as managing principal and co-founder of Atlanta-based Inertia Consulting Group. The practice included consulting and training in all areas of sales effectiveness, with a broad range of clients from small organizations to large global clients and across many different industries, including high tech, media, manufacturing and telecommunications. Ian also has extensive experience in channel and has held the position of VP of indirect channels.
Originally from the U.K., Ian spent the first part of his career in high tech on international assignments in in the U.K., Norway and Switzerland.
