John Grozier has been at the forefront of some of the leading enterprise software products and companies throughout his 20+ year career. He has lead teams across the disciplines of product and solution marketing, product management, product strategy, and operations. He is passionate about helping companies leverage technology and business process expertise to create value for customers, and to do it at scale. Throughout his career, he has worked in global roles that drove product releases, processes, and strategies that have guided companies to significant market share gains.
Prior to SiriusDecisions, he spent 11 years at SAP, in product and solution marketing roles. In his last role at SAP, he was VP of Solution Marketing responsible for SAP Business Suite ($1Bn+). Over his tenure at SAP, he led product marketing for CRM ($400M) , service industry solutions, and ERP. His time at SAP included numerous, global product launches, and SAP becoming the number one provider of enterprise business software.
Prior to SAP, Mr. Grozier was VP or Product Strategy for PeopleSoft CRM. He led the successful strategy effort for the launch of PeopleSoft 8 CRM, and was part of the acquisition team that acquired two portfolio companies. Mr. Grozier also led product management at Vantive (a CRM pioneer), and at start-up Innovative Computer Concepts (acquired by Vantive). He began his software career at CODA in consulting and product management roles.
John received a BS in Management/Finance with honors from Boston College.
